Wilmer Lee Duncan of Leflore, Oklahoma was born December 24, 1944 in Heavener, Oklahoma to Austin and Vera Caroline (McFarland) Duncan and passed away on June 22, 2019 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 74.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Genevieve Wiles, Dorothy Meeks, and Clarence Janette Duncan; and two brothers, Lemual Duncan and Lex Duncan.
Wilmer was a life-long resident of the area, a member of the Leflore First Baptist Church, and was a retired Electrician where he worked at Johnson Controls.
He loved spending time in the outdoors and enjoyed fishing. Wilmer also loved to play dominos and cards. Wilmer had many friends and will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Leflore First Baptist Church in Leflore, Oklahoma with Brother Ron Bess officiating.
Interment will follow in Leflore Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be: Sam Ward, Donnie Ward, Tommy Lindsey, Jeffery Duncan, Cameron Dickson, Kerry Frazier, and Shane Newman.
Viewing will be from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Monday; 8:30 a.m. until 8:30 p.m., Tuesday; and 8:30 a.m. until noon, Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family will be visiting with friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
