RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the baseball players of the week for the seventh week of the 2024 season. Henderson State’s Kaden Argenbright earned Player of the Week while Harding’s Griffin Meeker claimed Pitcher of the Week.

Argenbright went 10-for-15 across four games last week. He went 3-for-5 against Mississippi College with an RBI. Against Southeastern Oklahoma State, he came within a triple of the cycle in game one with four RBI. He had a bases-loaded double in game two as part of a four-RBI game. He finished with two hits in game three. He tied the school’s career record for hits, 266.#theGAC BASEBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK – Griffin Meeker, RP, Harding, Jr., Manchester, Tennessee
Meeker appeared in three games last week. He threw a perfect frame against Missouri S&T on Tuesday. On Friday, he entered a tie game with Southwestern Oklahoma State and registered 3.2 hitless innings with two strikeouts. The Bisons won in the 11th inning. In the finale, he pitched the last three innings as the Bisons rallied for an 8-5 win. He struck out four in the victory.
