RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the men’s basketball players of the week for the ninth week of the 2024-25 season. Ouachita Baptist’s Hobert Grayson earned Offensive Player of the Week and Harding’s Wesley Booker won Defensive Player of the Week.

#theGAC MEN’S BASKETBALL OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Hobert Grayson, F, Ouachita Baptist, Jr., Gonzales, Louisiana
Grayson claimed his fourth Offensive Player of the Week honor after he averaged 23.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals in wins against Northwestern Oklahoma State and Southwestern Oklahoma State. He recorded his ninth double-double of the season in an 11-point win against the Rangers. He has scored at least 20 points in 12 consecutive games.

#theGAC MEN’S BASKETBALL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Wesley Booker, G, Harding, Sr., Mount Vernon, Arkansas
Booker registered back-to-back games with 10 rebounds and a total of six blocks and three steals against two of the league’s first-place teams – Southern Nazarene and Oklahoma Baptist. He blocked four shots and added two steals against the Crimson Storm as the Bisons defeated a nationally ranked team for the first time since November 29, 2013.
