RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the women’s basketball players of the week for the 15th week of the 2024-25 season. Harding’s Sage Hawley swept the accolades after the Lady Bisons earned home wins against East Central and Southeastern Oklahoma State.

Hawley averaged 19.5 points per game in the Lady Bisons two wins. She tallied 25 points on 11-of-18 shooting against the Tigers. She added four assists. She followed up with 14 points and four assists against the Savage Storm. She helped the Lady Bisons secure their third-straight 20-win season.

#theGAC WOMEN’S BASKETBALL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Sage Hawley, F, Harding, Gr., Memphis, Tennessee
Hawley grabbed 28 rebounds and blocked eight shots in the two victories. She blocked a career-high seven shots against the Tigers. She moved up to 19th on the NCAA Division II all-time rebounds list with 1,306. Her two double-doubles gave her 66 in her career, the sixth-most in DII history.
