#theGAC/MIAA OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Elias Ovelar Semeniuk, F, Fort Hays State, Jr., Asuncion, Paraguay
Ovelar Semeniuk, the GAC/MIAA’s points leader, came up with seven points in wins against No. 8 Rogers State and (RV) Southern Nazarene. Against the Hillcats, he headed in a corner kick to open the scoring. In the 52nd minute, he beat the keeper for a 2-0 lead. Against the Crimson Storm, he assisted on the tying goal and converted the go-ahead penalty kick.
#theGAC/MIAA DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Dimitry Tchantcheu, D, Fort Hays State, Sr., Beauvais, France
Tchantcheu played all but six minutes in the Tigers’ two wins. He helped them record their sixth shutout of the season, a 4-0 win against No. 8 Rogers State. He helped limit the Hillcats to 10 shots, three on goal, in the match. He played the entire 90 minutes against (RV) Southern Nazarene. The defense limited the Crimson Storm to eight shots in the match, three on goal.
#theGAC/MIAA GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK – Cameron McColloch, GK, Northeastern State, Jr., Broken Arrow, Oklahoma
McColloch registered two shutouts as the RiverHawks collected their first two league wins of the season. Against Harding, he made three saves in the 1-0 victory. Against Ouachita Baptist, he made four saves, including one on a penalty kick. He lowered his goals-against average to 1.24
