RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the women’s and men’s golfer of the week for the third week of the spring season. Arkansas Tech’s Tobey Kim captured the Men’s honor and Northwestern Oklahoma State’s Tess Linden claimed the Women’s award.

#theGAC MEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK – Tobey Kim, Fr., Arkansas Tech, Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico
Kim garnered medalist honors at the Oldfield Classic with a one-shot victory. His opening round of 5-under-par 67 featured birdies on three of his final four holes. Following an even-par second round, he closed with a 4-under 68 round that included six birdies. He led the Wonder Boys to a runner-up showing in the 14-team event.

#theGAC WOMEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK – Tess Linden, So., Northwestern Oklahoma State, Orebro, Sweden
Linden paced the Rangers at their opening event of the spring season, the Rattler Invitational contested at the Dominion Country Club. Her low round came in the second round when she carded a 2-over 74, 10 shots better than round one. She made a pair of birdies in both the second and third rounds.
