RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the women’s and men’s golfer of the week for the fifth week of the spring season. Henderson State’s Felisa Sajulga claimed the women’s honor and Arkansas Tech’s Jacob Peetoom earned the men’s accolade.

#theGAC WOMEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK – Felisa Sajulga, Sr., Henderson State, College Station, Texas
Sajulga won the Arkansas Collegiate’s Individual Championship by recording a birdie on the first hole of a first-place playoff against Harding’s Sarah Kmiecik. Her opening round featured four birdies as part of a 3-under-par round of 69. She claimed her second tournament win of the 2024-25 season. She led the Reddies to a 15-shot title in the team competition.

#theGAC MEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK – Jacob Peetoom, So.,  Arkansas Tech, Rogers, Arkansas
Peetoom matched the second-best 54-hole score in Wonder Boy history after he posted 11-under 205 to claim the medalist honor at the Derrall Foreman Invitational. After consecutive 2-under 70s, he made five birdies and an eagle on the 18th hole for a closing 7-under 65 to best his teammate, Tobey Kim by a shot. The Wonder Boys won the team event by 27 shots.
