Steve earned his undergraduate degree from Colorado Mesa University and later his Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine from Western State Chiropractic College where he graduated cum laude.
Steve moved to Poteau in 1997 to open his chiropractic practice where he continues to help patients today. In 2023, Steve obtained his Oklahoma and Arkansas insurance licenses and opened the 918 Medicare Insurance Agency to assist patients and seniors navigate the Medicare process.
Steve is an active member of Spiro First Baptist Church and in his free time, enjoys woodworking, cycling, hiking, and training herding dogs.
Steve and his wife Christa have six children and ten grandchildren between them.
