Dr. Dennis Carter is retiring from practicing Medicine at the Eastern Oklahoma Medical Center in Poteau after over 30 years of loyal service to the community.
Dr Carter, along with his wife Sheri, daughters Sara and Amy and a host of other family and friends gathered at the EOMC conference room of February 6m 2024 to say goodbye to a physician that not only cared about his patients about the hospital as well.
Dr. Carter is board certified and specialized in Family Practice with Geriatrics. He obtained his undergraduate degree at Northeastern State University and his Medical School degree at Oklahoma State University.
Carter has probably seen over 60,000 patients in his 35 year career as a physician.
He plans to do some traveling and spend more time with his family.
