The Oklahoma Federation of Music Clubs (OFMC) 2026 State Junior Music Festival was held April 25th, at ECU and First Presbyterian Church in Ada, OK.

Callie Phillips, Chaya Rodgers, McKenzie Staples, Tiara Frazier, and Psalm Yandell of Natlynn’s Voice Studio were selected at the Poteau District Festival to attend the State Junior Music Festival Competition.

These students were great representatives of our district at state with the following awards in the competition. Callie Phillips received a third-place Bronze Medal in Elementary Vocal Art Song. McKenzie Staples received a third-place Bronze Medal in Junior Female Vocal Art Song. Tiara Frazier received a third-place Bronze Medal in Senior Female Vocal Art Song. Psalm Yandell received third-place Bronze Medal in Senior Female Vocal Musical Theatre and a second-place Silver Medal in Senior Female Vocal Art Song.

This was the first year for Callie, McKenzie, and Tiara to compete at the state festival.

Mr. Bill King traveled to Ada as the student’s collaborative pianist.

I am so proud of these students for their interest in music and their families for supporting the arts and this organization by attending the OFMC State Junior Music Festival Competition.
