According to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a Spiro man was injured in a vehicle accident that occurred on Maya 13, 2018 at approximately 12:10pm on Highway 271 just west of Rogers Lane in Spiro, in LeFlore County.
According to the report, a 2010 Toyota driven by Shawna Blake, 28 of Pocola and a 2015 Mahindra Tractor driven by Carroll Rogers, 65 of Spiro were both traveling westbound on US 271 when the Toyota rear-ended the tractor. The tractor then rolled and came to rest on its top.
Rogers was ejected from the tractor. He was transported by Tulsa Life flight to St Francis in Tulsa and has been listed in stable condition with arm, head, trunk internal and leg injuries.
Blake was not injured.
The accident was investigated by OHP.
