OKLAHOMA CITY (Oct. 31, 2025) – Authorities have arrested an Oklahoma fugitive facing child pornography charges who spent the last 13 years on the run. Anthony Lennon was added to Attorney General Gentner Drummond’s 10 Most Wanted list in July.

He was captured Thursday in upstate New York by investigators from the Oklahoma City U.S. Marshals Office and the Moore Police Department.

“I appreciate the thorough investigative work by the U.S. Marshals Service, the U.S. Attorney’s Office, the Moore Police Department and all of the law enforcement agencies involved in locating and apprehending this child predator,” Drummond said. “He evaded justice for far too long but will now face the consequences of his actions.”

Since March 2012, Lennon has been wanted on eight counts of possession of child pornography, stemming from a Moore Police Department investigation. During a search of his home, officers found chat logs, a desktop computer and stacks of compact discs containing images of children and infants being sexually assaulted.

In 2008, he was convicted in Cleveland County on five counts of aggravated possession of child pornography stemming from a Norman Police Department investigation. In that case, a friend using Lennon’s computer discovered about 50 gigabytes of images of graphic child pornography. He received a 20-year prison sentence but was on supervised release at the time of the 2012 arrest.

Lennon was located in New York under the alias “Justin Phillips.” His identity was confirmed through fingerprint analysis.

Drummond’s 10 Most Wanted program began in September 2024 to spotlight violent fugitives and encourage public assistance in bringing them to justice. Since the program’s launch, 15 fugitives accused of crimes such as murder, rape and drug trafficking have been captured. Learn more at the Attorney General’s 10 Most Wanted page.
