According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a motorcycle accident occurred on May 13, 2018 at approximately 8:30 am on Interstate 40 eastbound at mile marker 101 off ramp, approximately .2 of a mile north of Hinton, Oklahoma, in Caddo County.
According to the report, a 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by James E. Reynolds, 49, of Westcliffe, Colorado was traveling eastbound on I40, after exiting at mile marker 101 off ramp.
For some unknown reason the motorcycle lost control and departed the roadway to the left striking a sign.
Reynolds was transported by Medic West EMS to OU Medical Center. He was admitted in critical condition with head, arm, trunk internal, trunk external and leg injuries.
