According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a fatality collision occurred on March 2, 2021 at approximately 2:54pm on OK-2, just .5 south of County Line Rd, and approximately 13 miles north of Wilburton, OK in Latimer County.
According to the report, a 2005 Ford 500 sedan, driven by Stella Hodge 82, from Wilburton, OK was traveling southbound on highway OK-2, when for some unknown reason she departed the roadway to the left striking a tree.
Hodge was transported by ambulance to McAlester Regional Health Center in McAlester, OK with unknown injuries and was pronounced dead after arriving at the hospital.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation by the OHP.
