According to a press release from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, on Sunday afternoon, June 24, 2018, Hughes County Sheriff’s Office requested OSBI assistance with a homicide that occurred in front of Pruett’s Grocery store in Holdenville.
During a drive-by shooting, one person was injured and another person killed.
The deceased victim has been identified as Johnathan Merriman,36.
OSBI agents are processing the crime scene and conducting interviews.
The investigation is ongoing.
