This is a weather emergency call out for the state of Oklahoma. No this is not a expected cap day where absolutely nothing will happen like yesterday.

Conditions are in place this morning to set up storms, that will produce large hail, damaging winds, flooding across primarily central Oklahoma, and strong tornadoes of F-2 or greater.

The storm prediction center has outlined today as a PDS tornado outbreak (particularly dangerous situation ). For a insight on PDS, that is used for large and violent tornadoes, however today is showing that potential across the state.

Leflore county is included in this, it will just be later in the day today and overnight tonight.

Be prepared for all hazards across the state today, and if you have family out there please call them and have them be aware of the situation today. Locate a public shelter, heavener public schools has one, get a below ground shelter or FEMA F-5 rated above ground safe room.

Mobile homes are not shelter, bridges and overpasses are not shelter and a typical home will possibly be heavily damaged or destroyed if hit by a tornado.

Do not take any chances oklahoma, get ready now.below is the tornado risk area. We are edging that risk area but not in the clear.
