Limited-Edition “I Voted” Sticker Available

(Oklahoma City) – In-person absentee voting (also known as “early voting”) for the June 16 Election begins Thursday across the state. Early voting locations will be open Thursday, June 11 and Friday, June 12 (8 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and Saturday, June 13 (8 a.m. – 2 p.m.)

State Election Board Secretary Paul Ziriax announced that, “In honor of America’s 250th birthday, limited-edition ‘I Voted’ stickers will be available at early voting locations and polling place locations across the state, while supplies last.” There are two different designs. A preview of the designs can be found on the State Election Board website.

CLOSED PRIMARIES
Voters are reminded that Oklahoma has closed primaries. For 2026, in order to participate in a party’s primary election, you must be a registered voter of that party. More information about primary elections is available on the State Election Board website.

INDEPENDENT VOTERS
While the June Election includes party primary elections – all registered voters in Oklahoma (including Independents) are eligible to vote on State Question 832. Independents may also vote in any nonpartisan elections on the ballot such as for district judge and local propositions. You do not need to participate in a party’s primary election in order to vote on the State Question or participate in nonpartisan elections or local elections.

ELECTION INFORMATION
A list of early voting locations is available on the State Election Board website, along with the list of elections. (Voters must vote in the county where they are registered to vote.) Sample ballots can be viewed and downloaded by logging into the OK Voter Portal.

Voters with questions should contact their County Election Board or the State Election Board at (405) 521-2391 or info@elections.ok.gov for more information.
