Poteau Adult Learning Center graduation for 2020-2021 was held Tuesday, June 8 at the Donald W. Reynolds Center in Poteau. Dr. Don Sjoberg, Poteau Schools Superintendent, addressed the graduates and congratulated them for accomplishing their goal. A total of 67 graduates were recognized.
The top 10% of the 2020 class was: Holly Farrar, Maddie-Larkin Olivarez, and Jamie Stoufer.
The top 10% of the 2021 class was: Zachary Crocker, Michelle Oldham, and Elizabeth Stotler.
Carl Albert State College President, Jay Falkner, presented a 16-hour tuition waiver to Autumn Taylor. In addition, every graduate is eligible for a 1,050 hour Step to Success scholarship from Kiamichi Technology Center.
