Margaret “Sissy” McLaughlin, 75, of Van Buren, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, June 13, in Fort Smith. She was born on January 30th 1943 in Poteau, OK, to Dyke and Dolly (Neff) Neal.
She was preceded in death by her sister Janie, her parents, her brother Dykie, and nephews Corey and Jimmy Neal.
She is survived by her daughter Tina McLaughlin and grandson Rafe Evans, of the home as well as fur baby/grandbaby Ratty and Bitty. She is also survived by her brother Bill Neal, and her nieces and nephews Dee Shelburn, Kenneth Dickson, Cheryl Neal, Jackie Neal, and Bill Neal Jr as well as her great nieces/nephews.
She fought valiantly, but it was her time to join her family and beloved pets: Ralphy, Ty-D-Bol, Remy, Sissy Poodle, PW, and Baby Jerk, (and too many more to list.)
The family will hold a Memorial Service Saturday, June 23, at 10 A.M. at Mt. View Church at Glendale, OK (past Wister Lake.)
Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home Poteau, OK.
