Martha Dean Hamlin, 79, of Poteau, OK passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018 in Ft Smith, AR. Martha was born May 17, 1939, in Heavener, OK to Hugh & Thelma (Parham) Plummer.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Heavener.
Martha was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Gene Hamlin; her parents, Hugh Plummer, Thelma Plummer Taylor and stepmom, Daphne Plummer; son, Russell Gene Hamlin.
Survivors include her son & daughter in law, Jonathan Eric & Christy DeLude Hamlin of Poteau; daughter, Jennifer Angelic Hamlin Skinner of Murfreesboro, TN; stepson, Clifford Alpheus Pounders of CA; grandchildren, Ericka Miller, Rebecca, Joshua & Caleb Hamlin; sister, Doris Crouch of Germantown, TN; brother & sister in law, Leon & Peggy Plummer of Greensboro, NC; brother in law & sisters in law, David & Nancy Hamlin of Oak Island, NC, Marianne Hamlin of Dallas TX; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 2 pm Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK.
Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Poteau. Pallbearers will be Jon Hamlin, Kevan Paluso, Jimmy Wright, Joshua Hamlin, Caleb Hamlin & Kyle Simmons.
