Garland worked in the Oilfield Industry most of his life, but in his free time, he loved riding his mule in the mountains. He was preceded in death by his parents, Loyd and Edna (Rice) Burch.
Garland is survived by his son, Casey Burch, of New Ark, Texas; his two daughters, Regan Champion of Jacksonville, Florida and Misty Douglas of Alanta, Georgia; one brother, James Burch of Heavener, Oklahoma; three sisters, Peggy Martin of Roswell, New Mexico, Shirley Carrillo of Roswell, New Mexico and Carol Burch of Paris, California; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
