Troy Edson Ford, 83, of Hodgen, Oklahoma, passed away on March 16, 2026, at his home in Hodgens. He was born on October 30, 1942, in Nogo, Arkansas to Thomas and Bertha (Raines) Ford. Troy was a carpenter and worked in construction for many years.

Troy was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years Colene (Odell) Ford, his parents Thomas and Bertha Ford and his son Micheal Ford.

Troy is survived by his wife, Shirley Ford, his sons, Troy Randall Ford and Brian Ford, his daughters, Darla McLaughlin and Twyla Tucker, his sisters, Jean Ragland and Rosie Collins, his grandchildren, Jessica, Chris, Jason, Haley, Olivia, Kody, Kourtney, Whitney, Mary Beth, Briana, Autumn, Faith, Isaac, Victoria, JayLeona and Micah, his great grandchildren, Steven, Qualin, Brenna, Brylee, Dakota, Paislee, Wyatt, Mason, Cashton, Warren, Maecee, Addisyn, April, Chance, Harley, Alivia, Gabriel, Genesis, Gideon, Galilee, Mersy and Valor

The Celebration of Life Visitation for Troy will be from 10am – 12pm, Friday, March 20, 2026, at The Cedars on Dewey 520 Dewey Ave Poteau, Oklahoma 74953. Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 pm Friday, March 20, 2026, in the Ford Family Cemetery in Big Cedar, Oklahoma with Brian McLaughlin officiating. Casket bearers will be Isaac McLaughlin, Brian McLaughlin, James Cox, Randy Ford, Ray O’Dell and Ron Tate.
