The Kiamichi Technology Centers has hired Christl Coyle as Teaching Assistant for the Poteau & Spiro Campuses. Coyle is assisting instructors from the Biomedical Sciences Academy, Education Accelerated by Service and Technology (EAST), Culinary Arts and the Career Connections Center.

Coyle is a 1993 graduate of Poteau High School and has an Associates of Arts in Business Administration from Carl Albert State College. She has worked at the Department of Human Services, Howe Schools, and Poteau Primary Schools.

Along with her husband, Chris, of 20 years, she has two sons: Justun – 17 and Kody – 14. In her spare time, Coyle enjoys crafting and spending time watching her sons play golf and wrestle. She attends Covenant Church in Poteau.

Coyle stated, “I am very excited to join the KTC team. I am looking forward to working with high school students and helping them to achieve their career goals.”

Kiamichi Technology Centers has been an integral part of the communities in southeastern Oklahoma since 1968, serving ten full counties and parts of three other counties. KTC is part of the Oklahoma CareerTech system and is one of 29 districts within the state. KTC has more than 30 career programs, and offers a wide variety of evening and weekend short-term courses as well as certifications in many diverse career fields. KTC serves nearly 23,000 individuals each year, including many area companies who receive training through the Business and Industry Services Division that works with over 400 businesses each year.
