Poteau, OKLAHOMA – Price Cutter in Poteau provides a donation to Covenant Orphan Care – Poteau.
Covenant Orphan Care is a non-profit organization that helps foster care families.
Marie Clemm, Organizational Director, received $1500.00 from Teresa Newby, General Merchandise Manager and Price Cutter Store Manager, David Evans.
Covenant Orphan Care, started in June 2018 – the organizations help foster families with support groups as well as provide items such as clothing, cribs and car seats. “In November we provided 5 families with Thanksgiving meals,” said Clem.
Each year The Harps Corporation holds a Charity Golf Classic, over the last 20 years the Harps Golf Tournament has raised more than $2.3 million and has helped over 550 charities.
“Harps strives to help the community we serve,” said, David Evans store Manager at Price Cutter in Poteau, “donations are raised through the golf classic and then distributed through the Christmas for Communities Program,” said Evans. Teresa Newby, the General Merchandising Manager at Price Cutter nominated Covenant Orphan Care.
