Anna Mae Byrd, of Spiro, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, she was 88 years old. Anna was born in Dardanelle, Arkansas on November 16, 1936, to Alton and Bertha Lafferty and was the second oldest of nine children. Anna was formerly a longtime resident of Pocola, Oklahoma, and was a laborer and retired from Southwestern Die Casting Company. In her younger years, she enjoyed going fishing and camping, and spending time with her family at the lake.

Anna is survived by her daughter, Phyllis (James) Boblett of Panama, OK; granddaughter, Lisa (Richard) Townsend of Coweta, OK; grandson Jerry (Lori) Boblett of Shady Point, OK; and grandson Dennis (fiancé – Melissa) Boblett of Irvine, California. Anna is also survived by nine great-grandchildren: Christopher, Bethany, Kayleigh, Kennedy, Jarred, Courtney, Mackenzie, Augustus, and Lydia; ten great-great-grandchildren: Evelyn, Madyson, Kylie, Logan, Lorelei, Carter, Archer, Cooper, Julia, and Cayde; her sister, Evelyn; her brothers, Burl, Kenny, and Jimmy; and, many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Neil Byrd; her parents; one sister; and, three brothers.

Anna requested no services and to be cremated and buried at Greenhill Cemetery in Cameron, Oklahoma. Cremation services under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro, Oklahoma.
