Benjamin Lee Thompson, 65 of Poteau, Oklahoma, was born on September 16, 1958 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Pamela Sue (Wheaton) and Milas Doyle Thompson and passed away on December 27, 2023 in Poteau, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents; Spouse Doris Jean Wilson; Brothers James and Pat Thompson; Daughter Sue Thompson; Grandparents Parilee and Lige Benjamin Thompson.
Ben enjoyed woodworking, collecting collectibles, playing games, going to outlaw races, friendly gatherings, model trains,planes and cars. Benjamin was a truck driver for many years.That’s how he met his wife Doris Wilson.
Survivors include his daughters Angela Redd and husband Ricky, Natasha Lewis and husband Corey, Dana Wilson and Mary; Brothers Milas Doyle Thompson, Jr.and wife LaVonne, Albert Clyde Thompson and wife Penny; Clarence Edward Thompson and wife Jennifer; Grandchildren Christopher Williams, Cassidy Hernandez Pacheco, Caitlyn Montgold; Great Grandchildren Jayden Wilson, KaLeiya and Morgan Wilson. His beloved cat Frisky; Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
