Beverly was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose quiet strength and kind heart touched the lives of all who knew her. She spent her life devoted to her family and found joy in the simple pleasures of life—especially in time spent with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Bill Watkins; her sister, Katherine Mary Rood of Crescent City, California; and her brothers, Bobby Watkins and George Watkins, both of Spiro, Oklahoma, and Donnie Watkins of White Pine, Tennessee.
She is survived by her two sons: James Darrell Carr and wife Faith of Bokoshe, Oklahoma, and William “Willie” Franklin Carr of Spiro, Oklahoma
She also leaves behind six cherished grandchildren: Britteny Carr, Adrianna Carr, Sierra Spearman, Alyssa Spearman, Bentley Spearman, and Kindra Dedmon.
Per her request, no services will be held. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Cremation Center of Poteau, Oklahoma. “LeFlore County’s only on-site crematory”
