Cecil was born on September 1, 1942 in Shady Point, Oklahoma to Evelyn Ragan and Leland Washington Edens and passed away on January 27, 2024 in , Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth A. Shaw; wife, Peggy Edens; granddaughter, Elise Fulton.
Survivors include his daughters, Linda (Tina) Fulton and husband Jeff, and Corena Ballentine; son, C. Jerry Edens, Jr. and wife Liza; brothers, Charles Edens and wife Paula, Bobby Edens; grandchildren, Amber Bachman (Edens), Bradley Scott Fulton, Gabriel Ballentine, and Michael Ballentine; great grandchildren, Joey Fulton, Gavin Edens, Logan Rhodes, Gavin Flagner; great great grandchildren, Tobias Edens, and Alix Edens; numerous other relatives and loved ones.
Cremation is under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
