Charles “Chuck” Lillis passed away February 21, 2026, in Bokoshe, Oklahoma at the age of 74. Chuck was born July 19, 1951, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Leo and Elizabeth (Jordan) Madewell. Charles loved to fish and hunt and was a master of the BBQ grill, he also had a passion for fighting roosters and he loved all animals. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Sherry Madewell, one brother, Paul Madewell.
Chuck is survived by his love, Polly of the home, three sons, Michael John Lillis of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Franklin Ray Lillis of California and Shawn Lindsy of Arkoma, Oklahoma; two daughters, Sheila Denise Lillis of Mena, Arkansas and Kristi Smith and husband Stanley of Gore, Oklahoma; two sisters, Pearl Goyett of Colorado and Donna Jean Hopkins of California; 21 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
The Celebration of Life Visitation for Chuck will be held 2pm – 4pm on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at The Cedars on Dewey 520 Dewey Ave Poteau, Oklahoma and dinner to follow in The Cedars Celebration Room 520 Dewey Ave Poteau, Oklahoma
