Funeral Service for Chris Blevins, 57 of Spiro, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 633 Recovery Outreach in Spiro, Oklahoma with Brother Kane Riggs officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Panama, Oklahoma under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Pocola, Oklahoma. Viewing will be 12pm-8pm Monday with the family visiting with friends from 6pm-8pm Monday at the Pocola Chapel.
Christopher Trent Blevins was born on July 9, 1966 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Bobbie Bernice (Earls) and Jimmie Lee Blevins and passed away on December 9, 2023 in Spiro, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Blevins; grandson, Journey; and grand parents, Raymond and Azalea Earls
Survivors include his wife, Annette Blevins; mother, Bobbie Blevins Matherly; daughers, Kayla Dollar, Amber Kirbo and husband Jeremy, Brandi Whiteaker, and Bobbie Osborn; sons, Layne Blevins and wife Kara, Dustin Dollar and wife Tiffany, and Caleb Blevins; grandchildren, Teagan, Colby, Xander, Alyxas Hunter, Brooklynn, Gavin, Kayzlynn, Ivan, Raegan, Dalton, Dustie, Addison, and Trenton; sister, Sandra Williams and husband Curtis; brother, Alex Blevins and wife Joleen; step sister, Annette Staats and husband Jeff; step brother, Greg Matherly; honorary daughter, Katina Brandon; adopted daughter, Brandy Harper; and numerous cousins, other family, friends, and loved ones.
Chris was a member of the National Rifle Association, Old Fort Gun Club, and the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, football, metal forging, leather working, wood working, and gunsmithing, he was an all around man’s man.
