Funeral Service for Curtis Costella Loyd, 91 of Summerfield, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, October 16, 2023 at Church of Christ in Summerfield, Oklahoma with Curtis Curry, Austin Wiggins , and J.D. Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Summerfield Cemetery in Summerfield, Oklahoma under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
Curtis was born on February 9, 1932 in Summerfield, Oklahoma to Ruby Joann (Jones) Loyd and Christopher Columbus Loyd and passed away on October 12, 2023 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Reba Loyd; son, Scotty Loyd; and daughter-in-law, Linda Loyd.
Survivors include his children; Peggy Wiser and husband Jerry; Ray Loyd, Stanley Loyd and wife Janice, Tracy Loyd and wife Daphne; 28 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Justin Waddles, Stephen Wiser, Ethan George, T.J. Huett, Steven Huett, and Christopher Loyd.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Eugene Loyd, Joseph Cox, Mike Cox, Sam Cox, and Joshua Waddles.
Open visitation will be Sunday, October 15, 2023 from 12:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home.
