She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Hattie Fox; her husband, Leon Humphrey; two sisters, Mollie Brazeal and Norma Steelman; and two brothers, Kenny Fox and Charles Fox.
Darlene was a longtime resident of the area. Darlene dedicated much of her life to her work as a logger alongside her husband. Beyond logging, she also applied her skills in various grocery stores and a furniture factory, demonstrating her versatility and strong work ethic.
An avid gardener, Darlene took great pleasure in nurturing her plants and spending time outdoors. She was known for her loving nature and the deep bond she shared with her family. As a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Darlene valued moments spent with her loved ones, creating lasting memories that will be cherished. Her presence brought joy and warmth to everyone she met, and she will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Darlene’s legacy of love and dedication will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Graveside service to honor Darlene’s life will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 11, 2026 at the Page Cemetery with Brother Philip Jones officiating. Burial will follow under the direction and care of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
