Funeral Service for Edna Mae Lowery, 83 of Pocola, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Evans Memorial Chapel in Pocola, Oklahoma with Reverend Matthew Sebo officiating. Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Pocola, Oklahoma under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
Edna was born on March 9, 1940 in Pocola, Oklahoma to Beulah (Nichols)Tucker and Lewis Tucker and passed away on December 26, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Junior Lowery; parents, Beulah and Lewis Tucker; son, Robert Lowery; brother, Edward Tucker; sister, Etta Tackett, Linda Holloway, and Jane Hope.
Survivors include her children, Retha Anderson and husband Tom, Karen Lairamore and husband Randy, Shawn Lowery and wife Esther, Shane Lowery and wife Leah; grandchildren, Brent Lowery, Ayiana Lowery, Ethan Lowery, Nazhoni Lowery, Shenoa Lowery, Elijah Lowery, Gerald Lairamore, Kaitlyn Glasgow; brother, Charles Tucker and wife Minnie; sister, Jaunita Polk; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be B.J. Myers, Nathan Sosbee, Mark Polk, Aaron Hale, Brian Polk, and Shea Tackett.
Visitation will be Saturday, December, 30, 2023 from 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM family visiting with friends from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
