Harold Langley, 88, of Pocola, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2024, at his home. Born on January 10, 1936, in Queen City, Arkansas, to Clyde Edward and Donnie (Turner) Langley, Harold lived a life full of faith, service, and dedication to his family and community.
A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Harold served during the Korean War. He was a member and treasurer of Trinity Church of the Nazarene in Fort Smith, Arkansas, for many years, and attended Trinity Baptist Church in Pocola for the past three years. He was a longtime member of the Pocola Senior Citizen Center. His deep Christian faith guided him throughout his life, and he remained devoted to his church community.
Harold worked for Western Union for 30 years before retiring, then continued his passion for service by obtaining his heating and air conditioning licenses and working for Waylan Heat and Air for an additional 10 years.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Harold was known for his love of horses, embodying the spirit of a true cowboy gentleman. He was cherished by all who knew him for his kind heart, unwavering faith, and strong character.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, JoAnn Langley; daughter LaDawna Langley; his parents, Clyde and Donnie Langley; and his brother, Albert Roy Langley.
He is survived by his daughter Sharon Hall and her husband Bill; sons Anthony Langley and his wife Jan, and Franklin Langley; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; his brother Edward Langley; his sister Ella Mae Schillinger; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones, and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Trinity Baptist Church in Pocola, Oklahoma, with Jeff Beshears officiating. Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Pocola.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Evans & Miller Funeral Home in Pocola.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Langley, Don Didier, Rick Patton, Donald Ray Schillinger, Doug Lovell, and Monte Wisdom.
