Henry B. Mize, 93 year old WWII Veteran, passed away peacefully, at home in his sleep December 27, 2019.
Henry enlisted in the military and served in France and Germany. He returned to marry Gertrue (Rains) Mize. They lived in the Los Angeles, California area until they moved back to take care of his ailing mother in Oklahoma.
Henry loved to sing and was offered a record contract.
He was precede in death by his father, Elmer Mize, mother, Lillie Belle McElhaney, one brother, and five sisters.
He leaves behind three children; Gary Mize, Robert Mize, Reba Mize, and many other family.
He wished for no service or flowers. A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
Cremation is under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro, Oklahoma.
