Jerry Eugene Willingham, 79, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025, in Eufaula. He was born on May 28, 1946, in Wasco, California, to Ella Mae (Veach) Willingham and Clifton Willingham.
Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a mechanic—an experience he carried with pride throughout his life. After his military service, he became a truck driver, a career he held until his retirement. His strong work ethic and dedication were evident in all that he did.
A lifelong fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Buffalo Bills, Jerry loved going to Dodgers games and cheering on his teams. He also had a passion for the open road and found great joy riding his motorcycle. He was a proud member of Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA), where he stood for the protection of vulnerable children.
Jerry is survived by his son, Myron Willingham; his mother, Lois Willingham; grandchildren, Gavyn Willingham, M.J. Willingham, and Braxton Willingham; his sister, Barbara Murry; as well as numerous other relatives, loved ones, and friends who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clifton Willingham, and mother, Ella Mae Willingham
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Shady Point Cemetery in Shady Point, Oklahoma, with Jim Cook officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
