Joyce Edna Potter, age 94, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 30, 2024 due to natural causes. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Joyce was born on July 1, 1930 in London, England to Harold Winston and Daisy (Waters) Winston.
She was preceded in death by her beloved spouse, Bethel Lawrence Potter; son Dennis Teubner; her parents, Harold and Daisy Winston; sister, Jackie Lane, and her brother Peter Winston.
Joyce worked for JC Penney for 30 years, where she became a beloved part of the community. In addition to her professional career, she spent many years volunteering at a cancer support house, demonstrating her deep passion for helping others. Joyce loved spending time with her family, reading, and watching old Westerns on television. She was also a dedicated member of her church, known for the love, respect, and kindness she extended to everyone she met.
Joyce is survived by her son Tim Potter and his wife Celeste, along with her grandsons, David and Trevor Potter, all of Cameron, OK. She is also survived by her son Michael Teubner and his wife Roberta, along with her granddaughters, Michelle Lynch-Herndon, Megan Copher, Hayley Teubner, Joyce Teubner and her great-granddaughter Emily Copher. Additionally, Joyce leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
Her memory will be cherished by her family and friends, and she will be greatly missed.
Services to honor Joyce’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 6th, 2024 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, OK, with burial immediately following at Greenhill Cemetery in Cameron, OK. under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Homes in Poteau, OK.
