Naomi Fay Kirk 90, passed away on June 18, 2026, at her home in Panama, Oklahoma. She was born on August 7, 1935, in Dog Creek, Oklahoma, to Cleo and Eula (Mayfield) Fout.
Naomi was the oldest of 10 children and she was always the boss. She worked at Kirk Insurance for 30 years, loved to garden, plant flowers, cook, but most of all she loved all her babies, and no one left her house hungry. Naomi never missed a chance to boss someone around.
Naomi was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Kirk, her parents, Cleo and Eula Fout, her sister, Sharon Inman, her brothers, David Fout and Leo Fout
Naomi is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Cagle of Panama, Oklahoma; her son, Gary Kirk and wife, Patricia of Panama, Oklahoma; her sisters, Joyce Cando, Laura Neff and husband Tom; her brothers, Dolphis Fout and wife, Evelyn, Gearl Fout and wife Sheryl, Johnny Fout, Larry Fout and wife Jean; her grandchildren, Ashley Loudermilk, Heath and Brittany Gregory, Kyle and Caitlyn Kirk; her great grandchildren, Madison Gregory and fiancé Tyler Walker, Jacob and Jaycie Gregory, Hayley and Maddox Cardenas and Jaxtyn Loudermilk, Espen, Abbigail and Kyson Kirk, Reign Nyron Poullard and great-great grandson, Ryker Heath Walker. Naomi was also blessed with other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
The Celebration of Life Services Naomi Kirk will be at 10am, Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at The Cedars 520 Dewey Ave. Poteau, Oklahoma 74953 with Larry Harris and TJ Holt officiating. Burial will follow in the Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Casket Bearers will be Heath Gregory, Jacob Greagory, Maddox Cardenas, Tyler Walker, Aaron (Fred) Brown and Ryan Plemmons; Honorary Casket Bearers Jayton Loudermilk, Larry Gregory, Chris Anderson and Reign Nyron Poullard. Visitation with Family will be 5-7 pm, Monday, June 22, 2026, at The Cedars 520 Dewey Ave Poteau, Oklahoma.
