Kathie J. Ford, 68, of Howe, Oklahoma, left this life on August 22, 2018 in Fort Smith, Arkansas, after a two-year battle with cancer.
She was born July 5, 1950 in Heavener, Oklahoma, to William Junior (Buddy) Milligan and Ruby Ellot Tucker Milligan.
Kathie was an LPN at the Dialysis Clinic in Poteau.
She loved caring for her patients and supporting their family members.
It was very difficult for her when illness forced her to retire early. She will be missed deeply by her family and friends.
Kathie was preceded in death by her parents and her two precious baby girls, Patty Box and Julie Ford.
Survivors include her Daughter: Melody Dunn of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Grandson: Reyn Dunn and wife Ariel of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Brothers: Larry Milligan and wife Kathy of Panama, OK, James Milligan and wife Marty of Poteau,OK, Sisters: Mary Mullenax of Olathe, Kansas, Brenda Garland and husband Stan of Poteau, OK, Ruby Ann Himes and husband Roger of Heavener, OK, Stepmom: Dee Milligan of Poteau, OK, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her furr babies (the kids) Fredrick and Pepper.
The family will be having a Celebration of Kathie’s life at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 25, 2018, at The Church of the Nazarene in Heavener, Oklahoma.
