A special niece:
Joy Edwards of Heavener, Oklahoma
She was preceded in death by her mother: Laurene Hilderbrand; and two brothers, Ronald Edwards and George Hilderbrand.
Kathleen was a life-long resident of the area, a homemaker, and a member of the Heavener First Baptist Church. She married the love of her life, Jackie on December 6, 1986. She loved animals especially cats, staying home, spending time with her family and friends. Kathleen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her family was the light of her life. She will be deeply missed.
A memorial service to celebrate Kathleen’s life will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Heavener First Baptist Church in Heavener, Oklahoma with Pastor Brock Hardin and Brother Sam Dyer officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Heavener Police Department, Poteau Police Department, and LeFlore County Sheriff Department
