
A professional chef throughout his life, Lee had a deep love for cooking and shared his passion by preparing meals for those he cared about. He also had a great appreciation for music, especially gospel, and enjoyed listening to a wide range of tunes.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings: LeRoy, Lloyd, Lorraine, Lyle, Leland, Ralph, and Linda.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Carolyn Walkner; daughter, Natasha Bottoms; his sister, Lois Stephens; and his brother, Al Walkner, and his wife, Amy.
A funeral service to honor Lee’s memory will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at Evans Chapel of Memories in Pocola, Oklahoma, with Tim Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Clear Springs Cemetery in Willow Springs, Missouri. Viewing will take place on Monday, February 10, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Howard, Al Walkner, Aaron Cagle, Hudson Howard, and Scott Walkner. Honorary pallbearers include John Leatherman, Don Martin, Junior Wisdom, and Maddox Howard.
Lee will be remembered for his love of family, his culinary skills, and his kind heart. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.
