Leroy was born on September 23, 1937 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Sylvia (Tom) and Eli Wayne Summers and passed away on December 8, 2022 in Roland, Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eli and Sylvia Summers; daughter, Rhonda Summers; son, Scott Summers; brothers, Harley Summers, Bill Summers and Junior Summers. He worked most of his life as a concrete finisher and enjoyed playing the guitar and singing, breaking horses, and coon hunting. Leroy enjoyed his Native American heritage and learning about it.
Survivors include his children, Debra Summers, Gary Wayne Summers, Pamela Batts, Darren Summers, Ronald Summers and wife Sheree, and Leroy Summers, Jr and wife Lisa; sisters, Patricia McKinney and Betty Sue Price; brother, Herold Summers; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren that made his heart happy and his eyes light up.
Cremation is under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro, Oklahoma.
