Funeral services for Linda Jackson, 83 of Spiro, Oklahoma will be at 10:00am on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Mallory-Martin Chapel in Spiro, Oklahoma with Brother Robert Weeks officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro, Oklahoma. Viewing hours will be 9am-4pm Monday. Pallbearers will be Isaac Doss, Nathaniel Parker, Elijah Branscum, Michael Draper, Michael Branscum, Logan Ellis, and Logan Marion.
Linda Loeta Jackson was born on March 7, 1941 in Spiro, Oklahoma to Lena Mae (Craig) and Vernon Pierce Smith and passed away on October 11, 2024 in Spiro, Oklahoma. She was married to Raymond Jackson on August 2, 1958 in Spiro, Oklahoma. Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Lena Smith; sister, Carolyn Smith, and brothers, Donald Smith and Dennis Smith. Having retired from Riverside Furniture, Linda wore many hats including church choir leader and Sunday school teacher, and being a member of The Well Assembly of God Church. She she enjoyed arts and crafts, going to antique shops, working outside in her yard and flower beds but singing gospel songs with family, friends, and co-workers was her favorite. She loved her three granddaughters and taking them on vacation. Linda loved all and was loved by all.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond Jackson; daughter, Carla Lynn Jackson; son, Douglas Wayne Jackson and wife Reta; grandchildren, Angela Branscum and husband Michael, Amy Draper and husband Michael, and Raelynn Ellis and husband Logan; great grandchildren, Isaac Doss and wife Zatara, Alexis Doss, Elijah Branscum, Harper Branscum, Nathaniel Parker, Samuel Draper, Brayden Draper, Ava Draper, Noah Branscum, Hadassah Branscum, McKenzi Branscum, Judah Ellis, and Baby Ellis; great grandsons, Jeremiah Doss and Walker Isaiah Draper; sister, Peggy Spradley and husband Randy; brothers, Wayne Smith and wife Sharon and Keith Smith; many nieces, nephews, other family, friends and loved ones.
