Marilyn was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be missed by many and left a trail of good deeds in several states, where she at once called home. She was a mentor and helper to youth and adults that were in need. She put her heart into her children and was a very attentive mom. She was the aunt that many nieces and nephews loved. She provided loving end of life care to her mother-in-law leaving a legacy and respect for her deeds. Most of all she accepted, loved, and believed in God and Jesus Christ’s grace and forgiveness knowing we all fall short of the glory of God. May she rest in peace.
A memorial service to honor Marilyn’s life will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 31, 2025 at the Summerfield Church of Christ with Brother Tracy Loyd officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
