Marsha Elaine Lloyd was born on June 25, 1955, in Chula Vista, California, to Nancy Naomi (White) Hines and Edward Albert Hines. She passed away on May 4, 2026, in Talihina, Oklahoma.
Marsha married J.B. Lloyd on August 2, 1975, in Leflore, Oklahoma, and together they built a life centered on faith, family, and service.
Marsha was a woman of deep faith, quiet strength, and selfless love. A devoted Christian, she stood firmly for what was right and lived out her faith through acts of kindness and service to others. She had a servant’s heart and consistently placed the needs of others before her own.
Her family was the center of her world, especially her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy. Marsha was also a proud member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, where she dedicated 30 years of service. Her heritage, faith, family, and career formed the foundation of the meaningful legacy she leaves behind.
To those who knew her well, Marsha will also be fondly remembered as the “best chicken tender in Leflore County”—a title she earned not only through her care for her chickens, but also through her warm humor and storytelling.
Marsha’s life was marked by love, service, faith, and strength. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Naomi (White) Hines; and her brothers, Bill Hines and Jimmy Hines.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, J.B. Lloyd of Leflore, Oklahoma; her sons, Jason Lloyd and wife Crystal of Poteau, Oklahoma, and Micky Lloyd and wife Kristen of McAlester, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Sydney Bishop and husband Elic of McAlester, Oklahoma, Micah Lloyd and wife Arizona of Wister, Oklahoma, Brenner Lloyd of McAlester, Oklahoma, and Chani Vogle and husband Ace of Poteau, Oklahoma; two great-grandchildren on the way, Nicholas and Wayne; her siblings, Jean Evans, Tema Crawford, and Eddie Hines; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
