Nora Lee Steelman of Poteau, Oklahoma was born on April 12, 1935 in the Zoe Community in Heavener, Oklahoma to Marion and Lucinda (Dunn) Lewallen and passed away on May 18, 2023 in Heavener, Oklahoma at the age of 88.

Many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren
Numerous other relatives and host of friends
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Lucille Lewallen.
Nora was a long-time resident of the area and a Cafeteria Supervisor. She will be truly missed by many whom loved and knew her. Nora was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 22, 2023 at Oakland Cemetery in Heavener, Oklahoma with Reverend Bob Cherry officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Viewing will be 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Sunday and 9:00 a.m. until Noon, Monday at the funeral home.
