Funeral Service for Peggy Ann (Pendleton) Barnes, 83 of Spiro, Oklahoma will be at 11:00am on Monday, June 24, 2024 at Mallory-Martin Chapel in Spiro, Oklahoma. Burial will be at Fort Coffee Cemetery in Fort Coffee, Oklahoma under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home. Viewing and Visitation will be Sunday, June 23, 2024 from 12pm – 7pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Justin Aaron, Steven Nuzzi, Joseph Nuzzi, Mark Nuzzi, Christopher Barnes, Jesse Nuzzi and Jeremy Barnes.
Peggy was born on January 1, 1941 in Pocola, Oklahoma to Jessie Maybell (Smith) Pendleton and John William Pendleton and passed away on June 16, 2024 in Spiro, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Teresa Aaron; brothers, Loyd Wayne Pendleton, Joe Pendleton, John Pendleton, Don Pendleton; and sister, Geneva Farmer. Peggy retired from Sparks Hospital and then worked in the deli at Marvin’s IGA.
Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Real (David); sons, Harlan Barnes (Jana), Randy Barnes, Donald Barns(Kenneth Potter); thirteen grandchildren, thirty-five great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones.
