Robert was born on July 22, 1949, in Monroe, Oklahoma, to Minnie Clovis Clark Percifield and Harda Percifield.
Robert was a devout Christian who loved helping others. He proudly volunteered with the Howe Fire Department before moving to Grand Saline, Texas. He was known for his caring heart, strong faith, and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his devoted sister, Ruthie McAdoo; niece, Leisa Crawford and husband Dale; nephew, Eric McAdoo; great-niece, Lauren Addison and husband Ricky John; great-nieces, Caitlin McAdoo and Elizabeth Bacon; and his great-great nieces and nephews, Brandon and Chloe.
Family and friends are invited to share memories and celebrate Robert’s life together.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, Oklahoma, with Don Benefield officiating. Burial will follow at Monroe Cemetery in Monroe, Oklahoma, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
