She was preceded in death by her parents, Marlow and Lois (Brown) Sanders; her husband, Tommy Morrison; one daughter, Penny Lynch; two brothers, Scotty and Larry Sanders; one sister, Connie Benson; and a grandson, Kobe Ryburn.
Tammy was a longtime resident of the area and a CHR Community Health Representative for the Choctaw Nation. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Tammy was very proud of her Choctaw heritage. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral service to honor Tammy’s life will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at the Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener, Oklahoma with Reverend Charlie Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Howe Cemetery in Howe, Oklahoma under the direction and care of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be: Dustin Osborne, Zack Osborne, Tyler Morrison, Connor Morrison, Jimmy Dodd, and Michael Hammers.
Viewing will be from Noon until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday and 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
