Tess Tustin, 93, of Poteau, OK passed away Thursday, July 16, 2020 in her home. Tess was born January 22, 1927 in Gilmore, OK to Dink & Margie (Nichols) Burns. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Harry Tustin Sr. (2005); 2 sisters & 5 brothers.
Tess was a member of First Christian Church in Poteau. She loved sewing, going to grandchildren’s ballgames, gardening, dancing and visiting with friends.
Survivors include her children, Larry & Sandy Tustin, Harry Jr. & Robbie Tustin, Susie & Mike Lairamore; grandchildren, Bret Tustin & Cindy, Bryan Tustin, Perry Tustin & Marie, Misty & Jerry Collins, Stefany & Richard Snipes, Lacey & Justin Downs, Natalie McGehee, Mandy Bourne, Michael Bourne; great grandchildren, Tyler & Hannah Tustin, Tarah Tustin, Dani & Dax Collins, Champ, Wrigley & Rookie Downs, Bryson Tustin, Britt Hinton, Avery & Gehrig Snipes, Lara & Liam McGehee, Noah Bourne; sister in law, Dee & Bill Kovoach; nephew, Loyd & Judy Ivy; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 1 pm, Monday, July 20, 2020 at Fort Smith National Cemetery, Ft. Smith, AR. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great grandsons. The family will be at the funeral home on Sunday 5-7 pm.
